Sawai Man Singh II
Sawai Man Singh II has real name of Mor Mukut Singh who was the second son of Thakur Sawai Singh of Isarda by his wife Sugan Kunwar who are from Kotla (Utter Pradesh). His father was a nobleman belonging to the Kachwaha clan of Rajputs. Mor Mukut grew up in the dusty, walled township of Isarda, a chief of thikana the Rajawat sub-clan which lies between the towns of sawai madhopur and Jaipur in present-day Rajasthan. His family was connected to the ruling house of Jaipur and kotah where his Bhuwa was married. The then-Maharaja of Jaipur, sawai madho singh II, had been born the son of a former Thakur of Isarda and had been adopted into the ruling family of Jaipur. After giving him up for adoption, Madho Singh's actual father had in turn lacked for an heir. He adopted the son of a distant kinsman and was succeeded by that lad as Thakur of Isarda. That lad was Sawai Singh, father of Mor Mukut Singh. In this manner, Mor Mukut could be reckoned near kin to Maharaja Madho Singh II of Jaipur. After being adopted to become Maharaja of Jaipur, Madho Singh II had numerous children by various concubines, but the highly superstitious Maharaja was warned by a sage against having legitimate heirs and thus took great care not to impregnate his five wives. On March 24, 1921, Madho Singh II adopted Mor Mukut to be his son and heir. The boy was given the name "Man Singh" when he was adopted.Madho Singh II died on September 7, 1922 and was succeeded by Man Singh as Maharaja of Jaipur and head of the Kachwaha clan of Rajputs. The new Maharaja was eleven years old.

Govind Dev ji is the temple of Lord Krishna situated in jaipur , rajasthan is one of the famous temple in history of the jaipur. The image of the deity was brought from Vrindavan here by Raja Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur. According to popular legend, Lord Krishna's image in the temple looks exactly like Krishna's form during his incarnation on Earth. The deity originally belonged to Srila Rupa Goswami who was a disciple of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu.Around 5,000 YEARS In past SHRI BAJRANABH(Great grand son of lord krishna) was of 13 years of age, he asked his Grand Mother(daughter-in-law of Lord Krishna) as to how Lord Shri Krishna looked like; Then He made an image as per the description given by her. She however, said that not all but the Feet of that image looked like those of Lord Shri Krishna. He made another image, yet she said that the Chest looked like that of Lord Shri Krishna. Thereafter, He made the Third Image and looking at the same she felt Blush and Nodded that yes that was what Lord Shri Krishna Looked Like!!! The First One came to be known with the Name Lord "Madan Mohanji". The Second One got recognition as Lord "gopi nathji". AND the Third One, The live Divine Majestic Holy Image is LORD "govind devji".With passing of ages the glories of the Indian Culture were being forgotten and the sands of time kept piling up. Togetherwith every other thing these pious divine images were also lost from the memories of people. 500 years ago Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu took his birth on the Indian Soil and did the massive work to remove the layers of ignorance & infuse back in our lives the forgotten vitality of great grand Indian Past.Vrindavn Dham had become almost a Jungle by the early 16th Century. No trace of the original place was left at the site.Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu had visited the site in 1514 A.D. and had discovered some of the places mentioned in the Bhagvat Purana. But he was not able to stay here long enough to bring out the complete Glory of The Place. This is was of the beautiful temple in jaipur. Behind this temple there is garden provided for tourists and visitors to atake some rest.
